Still works great! Jul 07, 2009 My husband has had this electric shaver for 2 years now and it still works great. It's never given him any problems and he's never even cleaned it once even though you're supposed to regularly. He has also only had to replace the foil and blade once, which he did just recently, so he was able to use the original foil and blade that it came with for 2 years! We ordered the replacement foil and blade set through Amazon for a great price (Panasonic WES9011PC Combo Replacement Set) and we had no problems replacing the parts. Everything works just fine and my husband is still very happy with the shaver.
Panasonic Got This One Right Mar 10, 2009 In this age of gadgets, gimmicks, and electronic complexity, it is a relief to find a product, like this Panasonic Pro-curve Arc Retro Shaver. It combines the highest levels of quality in the areas that count (great cutters and comb design, convenient size, long-lasting battery life, watertight case, ease of cleaning, etc.) without all the useless and annoying bells and whistles that clutter up so many products on the market today. And all at a very affordable price! I recently bought my second Pro-curve, just in case Panasonic decides to "tart up" this wonderful product.

BAD FOIL, BAD SELLER and ME STUCK with COST. BOO PANASONIC!! Oct 21, 2008 After opening product, discovered a very small dent in foil. Seller mis-represented product and repeatedly lied, so didn't trust to correct and had to ignore this small dent after a slight, gentle straightening. Now less than three months and already a hole in screen which cuts my face. Seller who originally mis-represented product was reported and is gone from Amazon (thank you Amazon??), BUT regardless, Panasonic will not warrant and charged me for relpacement screen including shipping! Panasonic also didn't care about one of their retailers misrepresenting their product. Amazon Seller lies and poor customer service times two means I pay twice for new foil!
ALSO, previously went to have battery replaced in older model 8067 and couldn't even get a price w/o shipping in to secondary service center - then they've got your shaver hostage and you over a barrell on the price of a battery!!! BOOO PANASONIC AGAIN!!!! Hope the battery doesn't die on this new model also. Shaver did an OK job, but build is not near quality of previous models like 8067, 8068 and trimmer way too small and flimsy.

Good Shave - doesn't last Jul 21, 2008 The first time I used this shaver I got one of the closest shaves possible. I was really impressed. Now 5 weeks later the shaver hardly cuts at all. I'm not kidding. After going over and over my face I still have a very rough beard. I've been using electric shavers for over 30 years and have never had this poor of a shave before. The only thing I can think of is that the blades just dulled very quickly. I'm not going to the expense of replacing the blades and taking a chance they will dull quickly also. The shaver is now of no use at all.

Excellent product - excellent value Apr 04, 2008 Purchased about a month ago - product does an excellent job and I'm very pleased. Nothing negative to report. Cleans easily, charge holds well.
